This Capri has been the subject of considerable expenditure all detailed in videos that are available to interested parties . The last owner purchased a year ago but due to unforeseen circumstances has had to sell
. He paid vastly more than our advertised price . And the well respected chap who did all the work had invested a lot more than that into this car . Indeed his you tube videos are very interesting to watch !! The work entailed is extreme to say the very least ..
It presents beautifully .If being honest there are a couple of very minor paint defects which are totally acceptable however it was painted 3 years ago or so therefore to be expected .. Fast is not a word to describe this !! Very very fast Is !! This Capri is not for the faint hearted .. A. Simply awesome bit of kit !!

“1982 Ford Capri 2.0S - Originally a 2.0. Now a 2.9L V6 24V Cosworth Twin Turbo. Wide body kit (Xpack) Built from the ground up by myself, everything bar the paint. This car has been converted to coilovers all round, with 5 link rear suspension, and a half roll cage. The engine was fully rebuilt in 2015 by Top Boss Performance in Dervy, and is running 8:7:1 compression for boost. The car is running an Emerald K6 ECU, and is around 350-400hp. It sounds epic with a full custom stainless steel exhaust front to back! It has a Boost performance intake plenum and turbo manifolds, and is running Audi R8 coil packs. The turbos are GT1752’s and are perfectly sized for minimal lag, it comes on boost around 2300-2500rpm. For brakes, it’s running a big Brembo 300mm kit up front, with original brakes at the rear. I have a new conversion kit consisting of new vented discs and brand new calipers for the rear that can be negotiated separately if desired. Gearbox wise, it’s running a hybrid MT75 which was built from 2 NOS gearboxes approx 2015, and it has a CG Motorsport 385 supersport clutch kit.
Inside it has heated, lumbar adjustable Corbeau RRS seats, an AIM MXS Strada 1.2 digital dash, and has been carpeted over the link boxes etc. Uncracked dashboard. Also has an RS 4 spoke steering wheel. The car is painted in Desert Island Blue, and has just been fully detailed and ceramic coated. It’s running on Image VM Split rims which have just been built freshly.”
